FINGERPRINTING SERVICES – TERMS & CONDITIONS

By scheduling an appointment, submitting payment, or receiving fingerprinting services from Plancher Security & Investigation, LLC (“Plancher Security”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. SERVICE SELECTION

Customers are responsible for selecting the correct fingerprinting service when scheduling an appointment. Fingerprinting requirements vary depending on the requesting agency, employer, licensing board, profession, application type, and purpose of the background check. Plancher Security will provide services according to the appointment type and service selected by the customer. Plancher Security is not responsible for appointments booked under an incorrect service or for delays, additional fees, rescheduling, or other consequences resulting from an incorrect service selection.

2. ORI, OCA & AGENCY INFORMATION

When an ORI number, OCA number, VECHS information, agency code, or other identifying information is required, the customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information. Customers should obtain the appropriate information directly from their employer, licensing agency, regulatory board, requesting organization, or application instructions before their appointment. Plancher Security may assist customers in identifying commonly used codes or requirements; however, the customer remains responsible for confirming that the information provided is correct for their specific application. Plancher Security is not responsible for fingerprints submitted using incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer.

3. IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Customers must present acceptable, valid, and unexpired identification when required for fingerprinting services. Fingerprinting may be refused or rescheduled if the customer cannot provide the identification required for the requested service. The name and identifying information submitted for fingerprinting should match the customer's official identification and applicable application or agency records.

4. LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING

Live Scan fingerprints are captured electronically and submitted according to the requirements associated with the service selected by the customer. Submission of fingerprints does not guarantee approval, employment, licensing, certification, eligibility, or clearance. Plancher Security provides fingerprint capture and submission services and does not control the final determination made by FDLE, the FBI, a licensing agency, employer, government agency, or other requesting organization.

5. INK FINGERPRINT CARDS

Customers requesting ink fingerprinting are responsible for confirming which fingerprint card, form, number of cards, and submission method are required by the receiving agency. Unless specifically included in the purchased service, Plancher Security is not responsible for mailing or delivering completed fingerprint cards to the requesting agency. Customers should review their completed cards before leaving the appointment.

6. FBI FINGERPRINTING SERVICES

For services involving FBI fingerprint-based background checks or Identity History Summary requests, processing and response times may vary. Plancher Security does not control FBI processing times, government system availability, or the information contained in an individual's criminal history or identity history record.

7. FINGERPRINT QUALITY & REJECTIONS

Plancher Security uses reasonable care and professional fingerprinting procedures to obtain acceptable fingerprint impressions. However, fingerprint quality may be affected by factors outside our control, including worn fingerprints, skin condition, scars, injuries, age, occupation, excessive dryness or moisture, or other physical characteristics. Acceptance of fingerprints is ultimately determined by the receiving agency. If fingerprints are rejected because of fingerprint quality, customers should contact Plancher Security and provide documentation of the rejection. Any complimentary reprint or resubmission offered by Plancher Security is subject to verification of the rejection and the terms applicable to the original service. A new payment may be required when a rejection or resubmission results from incorrect information supplied by the customer, an incorrect ORI/OCA or agency selection, a change in application type, expiration of an application, or a requirement to submit fingerprints for a different purpose or agency.

8. BACKGROUND CHECK RESULTS

Plancher Security does not create, modify, interpret, approve, deny, or determine the outcome of criminal history records or background screening results. Questions regarding the contents of a background check, eligibility determination, disqualification, missing records, incorrect records, or agency decision must be directed to the appropriate government agency, employer, licensing authority, or requesting organization.

9. PROCESSING TIMES

Any processing time provided by Plancher Security is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise. Processing may be affected by government agencies, system outages, holidays, technical issues, incomplete or incorrect customer information, or other circumstances outside Plancher Security's control. Plancher Security does not guarantee that results will be received by a customer's employment, licensing, application, travel, or other deadline.

10. APPOINTMENTS, LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS

Customers should arrive on time and prepared for their scheduled appointment. Customers arriving 15 minutes or more after their scheduled appointment time may be required to reschedule. Missed appointments, no-shows, and late arrivals requiring rescheduling may be subject to applicable rescheduling or inconvenience fees.

11. MOBILE FINGERPRINTING

For mobile fingerprinting appointments, customers are responsible for providing a safe, appropriate, and reasonably accessible location where fingerprinting services can be performed. Additional travel, parking, toll, after-hours, or service-area charges may apply and will be disclosed when applicable.

12. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS

All payments for fingerprinting services are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law. Payments apply only to the service for which the appointment was scheduled. Selecting the incorrect service, providing incorrect information, failing to bring required identification, missing an appointment, or no longer needing the service does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund. Additional services, cards, submissions, corrections, or appointments may require additional payment.

13. GOVERNMENT & THIRD-PARTY FEES

Certain fingerprinting services may include government, agency, vendor, or processing fees. These fees may vary according to the type and purpose of the background screening. Plancher Security is not responsible for changes to fees, requirements, procedures, processing times, or eligibility standards established by third parties or government agencies.

14. PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION

Fingerprinting services require the collection and processing of sensitive identifying information. Plancher Security handles customer information in connection with providing the requested service and applicable legal, regulatory, vendor, and agency requirements. Customers should provide only accurate information necessary to complete their requested fingerprinting service.

15. SERVICE LIMITATIONS

Plancher Security provides fingerprinting and related submission services. Unless specifically stated otherwise, Plancher Security does not provide legal advice, immigration advice, licensing determinations, employment decisions, or guarantees regarding the outcome of any background check or application. Customers are responsible for determining the requirements applicable to their individual situation.

SECURITY GUARD TRAINING – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to security officer training courses provided by Plancher Security & Investigation, LLC (“Plancher Security”), including in-person classroom training and online training.

By registering for a course, submitting payment, accessing online course materials, attending class, or participating in training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. COURSE REGISTRATION

Students are responsible for registering for the correct training course and confirming that the course meets their individual licensing, employment, or professional requirements. Plancher Security will provide the training associated with the course selected at registration. Plancher Security is not responsible for registrations made for the incorrect course or training format. Registration is not considered complete until all required information and payment have been received.

2. FLORIDA CLASS “D” SECURITY OFFICER TRAINING

Students enrolling in the Florida Class “D” Security Officer training are responsible for meeting all eligibility and training requirements established by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), Division of Licensing, including applicable age, training, and licensing requirements. Completion of a training course does not constitute issuance of a security officer license. Plancher Security provides security officer training and course-completion documentation. The State of Florida determines whether an applicant qualifies for and is issued a security officer license. Plancher Security does not guarantee licensing, employment, placement, approval of an application, or any particular outcome after completion of training.

3. IN-PERSON CLASSROOM TRAINING

Students registered for in-person classroom training are expected to arrive on time and attend the entire scheduled course. Students must complete all required instructional hours, coursework, examinations, and other course requirements before receiving documentation of successful completion. Late arrivals, early departures, excessive absences, or missed instructional time may prevent a student from receiving credit for the affected training hours. A student who misses required instructional time may be required to attend a future class or complete additional instruction before receiving a certificate of completion. Additional fees may apply when additional training is required because of the student's absence, lateness, or failure to complete the scheduled course.

4. ONLINE SECURITY OFFICER TRAINING

Online training is intended solely for the student registered for the course. Students are responsible for maintaining reliable internet access and a compatible computer, tablet, or other device necessary to access and complete the course. Internet interruptions, device problems, browser issues, loss of connectivity, or other technical problems involving a student's equipment or internet service do not automatically qualify the student for a refund. Students must personally complete all required online instruction, coursework, assessments, examinations, identity-verification procedures, and other requirements associated with the course.

5. ONLINE COURSE ACCESS

Login credentials and online course access are issued to the registered student and may not be shared, transferred, sold, copied, or provided to another individual. Students may not permit another person to complete any portion of the course on their behalf. Plancher Security reserves the right to suspend or terminate course access if it reasonably determines that login credentials have been shared, course materials have been misused, or another individual is completing training on behalf of the registered student. Course access may be limited to the access period stated at registration. Students are responsible for completing the course within the applicable access period. Failure to complete an online course within the permitted access period does not automatically qualify the student for a refund.

6. IDENTITY VERIFICATION

Students may be required to provide valid identification or complete other identity-verification procedures before or during training. The name provided during registration should match the student's valid identification and the name to be placed on the student's training records or certificate. Students are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. Plancher Security may withhold a certificate or suspend training until any identity discrepancy has been resolved.

7. ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION

Students must satisfy all attendance and participation requirements applicable to their course and method of instruction. Simply registering, paying for, logging into, or attending part of a course does not constitute successful completion. Students must complete all required training before a certificate of completion will be issued.

8. COURSE EXAMINATIONS & COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

Students are responsible for completing all required examinations, assessments, assignments, and instructional components. When a passing score or other completion standard applies, the student must satisfy that requirement before the course can be considered successfully completed. Any available retesting or remediation will be subject to Plancher Security's course procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

9. CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION

Certificates are issued only after Plancher Security verifies that the student has successfully completed all applicable course requirements. Students are responsible for reviewing the spelling of their name and other identifying information provided during registration. Requests to replace or correct a certificate because the student supplied incorrect information may be subject to an administrative or replacement fee. A certificate of completion verifies completion of the applicable training. It is not a Florida security officer license and does not guarantee that a license will be issued.

10. LICENSING APPLICATION

Unless specifically included in the purchased service, course registration fees do not include state licensing application fees, fingerprinting fees, photographs, government fees, or other expenses associated with applying for a Florida security officer license. Students are responsible for submitting their own licensing application and required documentation to the appropriate agency. Plancher Security may provide general assistance regarding the licensing process but does not control application processing times or licensing decisions.

11. CLASSROOM AND FACILITY RULES

  • Parking: Students must park in the designated side or rear parking lot. Students may not park in areas designated for other tenants, businesses, or restricted parking.

  • Hallways & Stairways: Students may not gather, loiter, or hang out in the hallways, stairways, entrances, in front of building or other common areas of the building. During breaks, if on property, students must remain students' vehicle, side parking lot (facing The Florist shop) or rear parking lot (by rear stairway).

  • Cell Phones: Cell phone use is strictly prohibited inside the classroom and office. Phones must be silenced and put away while inside. All phone calls, texting, social media use, and other personal phone activity must take place outside the building during authorized breaks.

  • Photos, Video & Audio Recording: Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited inside the classroom and office unless expressly authorized by Plancher Security.

  • Unauthorized Phone Use: A student observed using a phone inside the classroom or office may be asked to leave the premises and may be dismissed from the course.

12. REMOVAL FROM CLASSROOM

Plancher Security reserves the right to remove a student from an in-person classroom or suspend or terminate a student's online course access for violation of these rules, misconduct, or any behavior that interferes with the safety, professionalism, operation, or integrity of the training program. A student removed or dismissed from training for misconduct or violation of classroom or facility rules will lose credit for the course and forfeit all payments made toward the registered course. No refund, credit, or transfer will be issued. By registering for and attending training, students acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with these Student Conduct & Classroom Rules.

13. ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

All coursework, examinations, assessments, and training requirements must be completed by the registered student. Cheating, impersonation, falsification of attendance or training records, unauthorized assistance, sharing answers, or attempting to bypass course requirements is prohibited. Plancher Security reserves the right to invalidate course completion, withhold a certificate, terminate training access, or take other appropriate action when academic dishonesty or fraudulent activity is identified.

14. RECORDING & COURSE MATERIALS

Training materials, presentations, videos, examinations, handouts, course content, graphics, documents, and other educational materials provided by Plancher Security are intended for the student's personal educational use. Unless expressly authorized in writing, students may not record, reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, sell, share, copy, or commercially use Plancher Security's proprietary course materials.

Online course credentials and digital course materials may not be shared with another person.

15. PAYMENTS

Course registration must be paid according to the payment terms presented during registration. All training payments, deposits, registration fees, and course fees are non-transferable and non-refundable, except when otherwise expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law. Registration fees reserve a student's seat in an in-person class or access to an online training program. Failure to attend, participate, complete the course, obtain a license, obtain employment, or complete training before an applicable deadline does not automatically entitle the student to a refund.

16. STUDENT CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

Students may cancel their registration; however, payments remain subject to the non-refundable and non-transferable payment policy. Failure to attend a scheduled in-person course is considered a no-show. A student requesting to move to another available training date may be permitted to do so at Plancher Security's discretion and may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

Course registration may not be transferred to another individual.

17. COURSE CANCELLATION BY PLANCHER SECURITY

Plancher Security reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify an in-person course when necessary, including due to insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, emergencies, unsafe conditions, severe weather, facility issues, technical problems, or other circumstances affecting the ability to conduct training safely or effectively. When Plancher Security cancels a course, affected students will be offered an alternative course date or, when appropriate, a refund of the course fee paid.

18. COURSE SCHEDULE & INSTRUCTOR CHANGES

Course schedules, instructors, classroom locations, and instructional arrangements may be changed when reasonably necessary. A change of instructor or other reasonable administrative change does not automatically constitute cancellation of the course or create a right to a refund.

19. TECHNOLOGY & THIRD-PARTY SYSTEMS

Online training may rely on internet services, learning-management systems, video platforms, payment processors, or other technology. Temporary interruptions or maintenance may occasionally affect availability. When a technical problem originates with Plancher Security's online training system and materially prevents course access, Plancher Security will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative.

20. REGULATORY CHANGES

Security officer licensing and training requirements may be changed by the State of Florida or other regulatory authorities. Plancher Security reserves the right to modify course schedules, instructional content, procedures, or requirements when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, rules, or regulatory requirements.

21. EMPLOYMENT DISCLAIMER

Completion of training does not guarantee employment with Plancher Security & Investigation, LLC or any other security agency, employer, or organization. Any employment opportunities discussed during training are separate from enrollment in or completion of the course.

22. NO GUARANTEE OF LICENSURE

Successful completion of training does not guarantee approval of a security officer license application. Licensing decisions are made by the appropriate government authority and may depend upon eligibility requirements, application information, background screening, fees, documentation, and other factors outside Plancher Security's control. Plancher Security is not responsible for the denial, delay, suspension, or other disposition of a student's licensing application.

23. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Plancher Security is not responsible for losses or expenses resulting from a student's failure to satisfy licensing requirements, failure to complete training, incorrect information provided by the student, missed employment opportunities, licensing delays, third-party processing delays, or circumstances outside Plancher Security's reasonable control.

24. PRIVACY & STUDENT RECORDS

Students acknowledge that Plancher Security may collect and maintain information reasonably necessary for registration, payment, identity verification, attendance, training records, certificates, regulatory compliance, and administration of its training programs. Student information will be handled according to applicable requirements and Plancher Security's Privacy Policy.

25. CHANGES TO TRAINING TERMS

Plancher Security reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect changes in its training programs, business practices, technology, or applicable requirements. The terms applicable to a student's registration will be those presented or otherwise applicable at the time of registration, except where changes are required by law or regulatory authority.
